The Rolex "Starbucks" is the collector nickname for the Submariner Date reference 126610LV (2020–present): a green Cerachrom bezel over a black dial in the 41mm Oystersteel case. The look began with the 16610LV "Kermit," released in 2003 for the Submariner's 50th anniversary with a green aluminum bezel over black. The all-green "Hulk" 116610LV took over in 2010, and when it retired in 2020, the 126610LV brought the lineage back to its Kermit roots with a modern ceramic bezel, earning both the Starbucks name and the "Cermit" alternate. We buy, sell, and trade the Starbucks Submariner in every condition, from new unworn 2026 examples to used pre-owned watches.
Starbucks vs. Hulk: what's the difference?
The Hulk (116610LV, 2010–2020) paired its green bezel with a green sunburst dial in a 40mm Maxi case. The Starbucks (126610LV) switched to a black dial, grew to 41mm with slimmer lugs, and upgraded to the caliber 3235 with a 70-hour power reserve. The look actually echoes the original 16610LV "Kermit" (2003–2010), which also ran a green bezel over a black dial.
New Unworn & Used Pre-Owned Starbucks
The 126610LV is in the current Rolex catalog, but authorized-dealer waitlists stretch years, so the pre-owned market is the only way to get one now. Every Starbucks we sell is authenticated in-house at our Metro Detroit showroom, and listings state exactly what's included: boxes, warranty card, booklets, hang tags. We buy, sell, and trade, so if you have a Submariner to move, start a quote on our Sell My Watch page or call or text 248-422-0909. Every watch ships fully insured nationwide via FedEx Hold for Pickup at your nearest FedEx location. More questions? Reach us through our contact page.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Rolex Starbucks?
The Starbucks is the Submariner Date reference 126610LV, introduced in 2020, with a green ceramic bezel and black dial in a 41mm steel case.
Why is it called the Starbucks?
The green bezel over the black and steel palette reminded collectors of the Starbucks logo colors. The nickname appeared almost immediately after the watch's 2020 debut.
Is the Starbucks the same as the Hulk?
No. The Hulk (116610LV) has a green dial and was discontinued in 2020. The Starbucks (126610LV) replaced it with a black dial in a larger 41mm case.
What movement does the Starbucks use?
The caliber 3235, with a 70-hour power reserve and Chronergy escapement, replacing the caliber 3135 used in the Hulk.
Do your Starbucks Submariners come with box and papers?
Many do, and each listing specifies what's included. Every watch is authenticated by our in-house team regardless of accessories.
